Charming hotel with a serene canal view.

The steep stairs made moving luggage a nightmare. I could barely manage my bags without risking a fall. Additionally, the lack of basic toiletries and amenities like tea/coffee facilities made my stay feel quite unwelcoming.

I thought I was in for a treat at Ca' San Trovaso, but then the bathroom drain smelt like a sewer, and a half-drunk bottle of water awaited me. Not to mention, I expected a complimentary upgrade for enduring such displeasure, but alas, no red-carpet treatment here. Just couldn't give this place a good review.
